Writing for engineering was a very beneficial course to take, and one that is mandatory if you’re going to study any form of engineering. In my opinion all the learning outcomes were accomplished. One of the main things I struggled with when beginning the course was revising my essays, one of the most difficult things for me was finding mistakes in my own writing, the only thing I would improve on would be grammar mistakes. Something else that was a problem for me was reaching the word count for all the essays. The way I overcame this problem was reading my essay carefully and realizing that I was writing in very general terms. So instead of that I started to speak with more detail. Another problem that I overcame was citing my sources, before when I was citing all I did was copy and paste the link, though I learned to use the proper format.
